We had to get to SD2 before the children went home. One bike was parked there on its lonesome with the children wondering who the recipient would be. Daughter Belinda's sponsor girl seemed pleased, in a 'no show emotion Balinese sort of way'. As we left we watched her competently pedal down the road on her way home.
The children must have had a great day at SD3 that day. Two ladies from another forum arrived before us, took netball and cricket equipment and taught them how to play. Great fun and laughter! Some didnt 'understand/accept' going out! Soccer shirts were given out and the boys thought for keeps. Bit embarrassing when it was realised that the numbered shirts were for team play and owned by the school.
I gave lots of books to Wayan the principal. After the bedlam last March, when the children pushed and shoved, I vowed not to hand out gifts to all again. I was really concerned that the littlies in front would be hurt. Those bigger boys are really naughty!
Then your arrival.
Bali schools have broken up now until July 16.
