Accomodation in Sanur

Hi, my boyfriend & I are spending this Christmas in Bali. We are travelling around South America & Asia for 7 months, and would like a bit of luxury around xmas time.

I have been searching the internet for accommodation and it is between 3 hotels in Sanur.

They are, The Peneeda View beach Hotel, La Taverna & Puri Santrian. We want to be near the beach prefabley a room with a beach view, and not to far from restaurants & somewhere to go in the evening. The Puri Santrian is the most expensive & I have seen mixed reviews about it, some say its wonderful , but not situated in the best part of Sanur.

Any advice would be very much appreciated, as I am getting very confused now, and spending far too much time on the internet.
