After returning to Kuta Beach Club from Candi Dasa we only had time to take our bags back to the room when the ladies all said we have to go and make sure our clothes fit and if the shoes are ready. Really I mean were only back at the room for about nine minutes and away they go. OK so Bob, Mark (my son) myself and my two granddaughters headed straight to the pool. Now we are not allowed to stay in the sun too long or at least my granddaughters are not so says their mother. My two granddaughters are just beautiful you see their mother is from Taiwan and the two girls look a little Indonesian and as you know all the locals love little kids. Their mother does not want them to get to dark, as it does not look good so she says.
We had to play this one careful because we told her we were not going in the pool so I called my friend Made at the front desk and asked him if he sees her coming to call the pool straight away just to give us time to get out and for him to try and lose the room key for just a little while. OK the call came and out we go but my son forgot he had the room key so Maggie did not have to stop at the desk and beside that came through another entry. There we were in the pool and in the sunny part of the pool. Our five year old saw her mother first and told her sister four years old here comes mum and dove under water straight to me I guess she thought mothers might not get as mad at Poppa as daddy. Well it didn't work that way and we all except Bob of course got in trouble (there is more trouble to come when mums is away later).
All the ladies came back and it was time to go the beach and see our friends again. We as proud grandparents wanted to show off our little girls to our friends.
Women just can not be worked out at times because the ladies my wife Carol and our friend Bob's wife Pam came back with two new had bags each and they only went for a fitting and shoe size. They have past these shops many times in the last ten days and still see things they did not see before. No time to go to the beach as the ladies were tired from the short shopping spree so tomorrow at noon we go and get the girls hair braided.
