...and yes, pricing is quite similar.
I guess it really depends on what you are looking for??

Are you a couple or family etc, travelling ???

If you have children -they may prefer the Dynasty....although mine don't...they believe it to be a bit tacky and over-rated.

If you want to be in 'Kuta- Tuban' close to Waterbom Park and Discovery Shopping Mall- then it rates.

We have stayed at Max and Suzannes apartments at Jayakarta...I have included the link....the children did prefer the location, the beach - the quality of shopping- restaurants- the tourists- and the less aggressive hawkers....

If you are taking the family...you will find the breakfasts at both hotels to be quite pricey in comparison to what the alternative 'eat out' at local diners will charge.

They are both big resorts-
Jayakarta is in a great position if you want to dine at a different restaurant every night, many are beachfront....so 'sunset dining' is just on your doorstep.

Both hotels have huge pools- the Dynasty pool is usually over-run with kiddies... and if you want adult pool area...it is quite small and lacking atmosphere.

Jayakarta has a kiddies pool and a couple of other pools.
The large circular pool is quiet private, and we never had a problem getting a chair.

If you are able to put together a 'wish list'
-regarding accomodation and location needs....
I am sure many Forumites will offer reccomendations.

I would also email your hotel choice prior- regarding availability...to avoid any possible disappointments.

Hope this helps
