We just stayed at Apa Kabar. We loved it and they provided transportation to and from the airport (and transportation around Bali during our stay too). We checked out some other places, but Apa Kabar was far and away the nicest. The property is great and the food is outstanding.
Blue Lagoon was very good snorkeling, but we focused more on scuba in the Amed/Tulumben area. The best snorkeling at Amed is a Japanese wreck, but there is coral all along the coast. To get to Blue Lagoon, you can get a car and driver pretty cheap; it was about a 45 minute drive.
