My wife and I just returned from a week in Amed at the Apa Kabar Villas and it is the best vacation we have ever had. The staff was so friendly that they feel like family, the food was the best that we had on the island, the property is amazing and the diving was spectacular. If you plan to go diving in Amed and you are already certified, I highly suggest that you check into the Bagus Dive Service at the Villas. Sama is an amazing guide and dive master, the equipment is very good and you don't have to deal with big groups. We did day and night dives at the Liberty Wreck with just the three of us and Sama took us on some outstading drift dives in Amed. Feel free to email with questions about the resort and the scuba.
