I was just reading the little "Hints for Australian travellers" booklet that came with my new passport. (well alright I'm a bit bored and am trying to put off studying for a Bahasa Indonesia assessment at TAFE tonight).

Well, who'd have thought it is a criminal offence under Australian law to bribe or attempt to bribe an official of another country and that we (if we did such a thing, which of course we wouldn't) could be prosecuted in an Australian court.

Now I'm not saying you should, would or could do these things but just think if you were getting a lift to the airport with your friend on his motorbike.....were stopped once on the way for overshooting the white line, managed to get your friend into the airport to see you off, had excess baggage and had lost (or never been given back) the half of your immigration form. That would be 4 offences in about 1 hour.

Who'd have thought there was such a mob of criminals on this site...

Regards (tongue in cheek) Hillary
