I've used Kadek Supariana a couple of times. He drives a new Toyota Avanza and his rates are very reasonable ( about Rp 300.000 for a full day ). The best supermarket in Candi is the Asri supermarket. It's very hot inside, so best go after sunset. You can get almost everything there, from wood, clothes to daily groceries. It's cheap compared to the Kuta area.
