they were expanding their overseas network for prepaid but last time I checked Indonesia wasnt on the list. Can be used in some countries. I am meaning the actual Optus pre-paid sim being used overseas.
With regard to using a bali sim:
The problem if your handset is locked to the optus network means you cant use a Bali sim card in it. You would need to have unlocked prior to leaving Aust. $85 worth of prepaid recharges allows you to have the handset unlocked for nothing, or I think if you have had the handset for 6 months or more. Just phone Optus and check. cheers :-)
