If you have little ones, maybe the living area & kitchen may come in handy.
We hardly spend any time in the room anyway.
On saying that, it is nice to sit on the balcony late in the afternoon, have a drink & enjoy the gardens or pools.The outlook from all the rooms are pleasant. The 500 & 400 blocks face a beautiful large garden area if you get odd numbered rooms.The 300 block faces the reception & restaurant & they are close to the pools.
Pool facing rooms are next to reception & are the 100 rooms.
The 200 rooms are close to the pools & some are in blocks of 4, with 2 up & 2 down. These rooms are located near the tennis courts.
There's a video on 'you tube' called the 'jayakarta hotel bali', which shows what the hotel is like if you have broadband.The room shown is the palace suite, which is the most expensive room in the place !
