Have to agree with c and k. Beach Cafe gets my vote as one of the best along that stretch. Their dessert tasting plate is yum and the steak to die for!!!!!
Check out the Sindhu Beach market while you're in Sanur. There are a couple of fixed price shops down the back on the right hand side - Jeny's and Toot Sies. They have all the usual market stuff at reasonable prices and also have a range of handbags.
A walk along the beach path is a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
