Amed, on the East coast where the Japanese wreck is, is a great area for snorkelling.
We found it very easy, the wreck is only about 20 - 30 meters off shore and in 6 meters of water. Only a smallish boat (wreck) tho.
Plenty of coral and fish life/variety to look at!
You can go to this place from a boat fom your hotel of just snorkel straight off the beach!
