the bad decisions come from JKT. Any one would understand their decision to close ports that are not making money but this was not the case. There are alternatives that would suit everyone.

Why do they have 4 evening flights a week from Perth to Bali via JKT. I can tell you that those aircraft are lucky to have 10% onboard each night and then the connection to Bali is always unavailable as it service the heavy JKT traffic. The WA people want their direct services back as the morning flights are not enough.

This is all about some bad decision making and one ego that won't roll over. Nothing else makes sense when you look at options like

Auckland via Brisbane - Bali
Brisbane via Darwin - Bali
Adeliade via Darwin - Bali
Sydney Via Brisbane Bali - at least once a week any ways....
Melbourne Via Adeliade - Bali - again at least once a week
Adeliade via Perth - Bali

Heaps of cost effective ways to service these ports and yet no go... Ten year high for tourism. All operators at breaking point for all destinations and Garuda is missing out.

I hope every time a plane leaves Perth next to empty on it's way to JKT that one hair on that man's head goes grey or falls out....

Bring on common sense.
