make a really long, expensive list of things that you want to do and buy and then, when your parents are really tired and frazzled (maybe even hungover), present it to them. Then whinge and whine and misbehave until they give in and let you have and do everything on the list. Then, instead of being grateful and delightful, fight with your siblings over whose things are better and who got what first. And then, just to make sure that you dont let the 12 year-olds all over the world down, refuse to use sunblock or wear a hat and get yourself some nasty sunburn and maybe even a touch of sun stroke. And then, if you havent completely driven your parents absolutely crazy, maybe eat something from somewhere that they told you not to, get yourself a dose of bali belly, blame them for being bad parents and taking you to Bali in the first place and ring your grandparents to let you go home early.
