Hi all, we are hoping to go back to Bali before the end of this year & will be taking our 1 yo and 3.5 yo with us. We've been to lots of the touristy places & loads & loads of temples etc (but we still would like to see more).
What we are thinking of doing is perhaps doing 4 days in Kuta to relax, Ubud for 5 or 6 days, then off north maybe Singaraga couple days, then east Amed couple days? maybe & then Candi Dasa couple days then back to Kuta.
We would like to do this so that we can explore the areas from a closer vantage point rather than travelling from Kuta every day with 2 little ones. Last trip we didn't see a lot north around Banjar / Singaraja & didn't go as far east as Amed etc & didn't go around the Candi Dasa areas.
Any suggestions of places we could stay within budget that are nice enough for us to stay with our little ones (will need a cot 4 little one) & are safe e.g. balconies that don't step right out to a pool, no millions of steps (you get the idea). Also that are walking distance or easy to get to eateries & transport.
Suggestions about where we could go that may be alternate to our general thoughts we have now.
We love natural beauty but aren't big on treks (too hard with kids), love seeing the ocean but not into diving or snorkelling and would love to be able to walk around local areas & have the kids interacting.
Would love to hear all your suggestions.
Bear in mind this will be my 5th trip & hubbies 2nd so we've seen lots of stuff and would like to see more stuff lol.
