i went to Gili one way on Bluewater, sure not cheap but they pick you up from hotel in Kuta around 6:30 am and drop you off on the beach in front of your hotel on the island approximately 2 1/2 hours later so you can make the most of your first day on the island. The boat trip is fantastic with excellent views of the east coast of bali and Mt Agung is truly spectacular when viewed from the sea.
