that sometimes the hotel was almost the same as the street rate (only 1 or 200 difference)but other times the hotels were much less. Depends how much money you change at once as it can add up and how convienient I guess, sometimes if you need it quickly the hotel is worth it.
We always count the money again and work it out on our own converter and try to go to the ones with a good name or that have security out front.
Use atm's if we run out and have the credit card as a back up.
