Cash rate is always slightly better thah T/C rate.
For current daily cash rate follow the lead of duck No 7 above.

Now for the secret.....There are many ATMs in Bali, not quite on every corner, but almost. Arrange a card with no withdrawal fees, no forex fees ( clue = Wizard Clear Advantage Mastercard ) and use one of those ATMs regularly as there are no fees.
This card's exch rate has proved to be same as changing cash, and much more convenient than the hassle of buying T/Cs, recording numbers, carrying P/P copys etc. Of course carry some cash as well as I'm sure you always do.
