I travelled to Bali ( 2nd pregnancy)and was approximately 6 weeks pregnant. Although I was careful, I was not overly cautious. i.e. I drank bottled water, avoided ice in my drinks, washed my hands with antibacterial wipes before I ate and avoided foods such as cheeses, yoghurts, ice-creams and food (meat) that did not look as though it was cooked enough.
I swam ever day, shopped etc all the usual things. The heat was not a problem for me. (also had my 3 year old to keep me busy).
I did not find mossies to be an issue for me(I travelled in the month of June). I used aeroguard around my legs and asked for mozzie coils under the tables if we ate out.
