There are 2 water palaces, one south of Amlapura at Ujung, one north at Tirtaganga(??). Easy to visit both in a morning from CD. Ujung is a big rectangular lake with 2 concrete platforms, one an airy sitting area the other a small palace. The Tirta gardens are more elaborate, several pools, statues, restaurant etc. Well worth a visit to both. Amlapura about 15 minutes from CD, the 2 palaces 10 minutes North & South
