If you have been on the beach at Kuta and Legian you would have come across Patrick - 'The Chip Man', real name Made. He walked the beach selling chips and cigarettes from a basket that he carried around his neck. I had read that he had died recently, can anyone confirm that? How did it happen?
Patrick was one of our favourite 'characters' on the beach. A very unassuming man, if it is true that he is deceased, he will be greatly missed.
