Les, those figures must be seen as encouraging. We can only ponder how much greater the improvemnet would have been had flights not been slashed the way they have. Adelaide...dumped; Brisbane...dumped; Auckland...dumped; Melbourne...slashed; Sydney...slashed. Perth has had its flight frequency increased but I'm not sure how many people from Adelaide would be prepared to go via Perth, or Bisbane people prepared top go via Sydeny. I'd be quite interested to see how many seats per day are going into Bali now, compared with a year ago. And I think it wold also make interesting reading to see how many people are going to Bali via KL or Singapore with those two carriers. That the Oz numbers are improving in the face of declining air services surely must be turning on the lights in the heads of airline decision makers! Cheers - kevin
