in Candidasa and loved it. Its quite a small resort but lovely rooms and a great restaurant. To get to it you travel down a very interesting little lane with a few small warungs and shops. The service is magnificent, beds turned down etc. We had a car as its a little bit out of town but you'd be ok with taxis. The only thing that was a bit frustrating (and no fault of the resort) is that the beach is unswimmable due to the rocks and the surf. My partner had a go, wasnt going to let it defeat him, but ended up with a badly cut foot for his bravery.
