I definitely suggest Travelan, didn't take it this time and think that was a big mistake. It is a preventative antibiotic for travellers diahorrea if you are not familiar with it. Available at most chemists, a little expensive, but would not leave home without it next time, have learnt my lesson.

For the children, i usually take raspberry juice or a high content raspberry syrup. Some juices are rather bitter and not tolerated well by young children so the syrup or a cordial are easier to administer. I once took a dessert sauce which was high rasp content and they took a spoonful each morning. Also, i use antibacterial wet ones wipes or antibacterial gel such as Aquim, for cleaning hands before eating when out. Kids are always getting meals with fries and using their fingers when out. This is also available in the guardian chemist in bali and is called handy clean, very cheap and the same as Aquim.

Otherwise, relax and enjoy your holiday. Hope you have a great time.
