I met and married someone from there. Whilst my relationship went horribly pear shaped I don't regret for one minute the relationship. I followed my heart and I can at least say I will never wonder what if. I have a beautiful daughter. Morevoer, I have friends who have married indonesians and are still blissfully happy. Go for it and enjoy your relationship. Watch out for any warning signs (don't get swept away in the moment) and let the doubters doubt. At all times remember to thy own self be true.
