In response to the ?? re no stairs rafting posted earlier after 2 480+step trips we booked the "no stairs" rafting through a guy at the Aussie Cafe in Melasti St. There were about 100 steps going down in groups of 10 and not on a steep gradient so no hassle- the rafting was the same experience as the other trip and at the end we had 2 steps from the river to the resturant. The worst steps in that trip were to the shower about 12 but really steep so if you dont need a shower save yourself a climb. The price to book at the Aussie was about 75,000R cheaper than the others in the bus paid tthrough a company so it was a good deal and hopefully the guy still works there. The name of the river started with T but I can't spell it!
