Can you afford to be out of pocket if you are struck down with an illness and had to be admitted to hospital (broke a limb, involved in a car accident etc), or your lose your luggage, camera, passport etc.
How about a catastrophe?
Its all about risk management!
The general rule is to always travel with travel insurance, not worth the risk! The premium costs very little compared to the poosible loss that one could suffer.
