The Intercontinental in Jimbaran is a bit special...stay Intercontinental Club level for some really cool included extras such as your choice of breakfast in any one of 6 locations - including your room. Complimentary light beverages and snacks in the Club lounge - which looks like something out of Raffles with its white linen on tables, lakeside decking and white gloved doorman at each entrance. I stayed in a loft suite which was simply huge and had the bathroom and bedroom on the mezanine level. Also has 24 hour butler service. There are 6 swimming pools throughout the complex from small plunge pools to a massive "lake" nestled between a relaxation Bale and dining/beverage Bale...a great place to linger! My room had huge TV's upstairs and down which had DVD players and azillion sat TV stations. Surprisingly not plasma screens though. Hotel representatives greet you at airport on immigration side and take care of your VOA stuff before entertaining you in their hospitality lounge with cool drinks while staff retrive luggage for you. Then off to Hotel. By teh way, they are a short beach stroll from a number of the on-beach cafes. All up a very impressive facility. For detailed opnions of otehrs who have stayed there try tripadvisor dot com. If you would like to see some pics then email me. Four Seasons is another super-style property in teh area. Or you can try try some of the really really sexy boutique places up in Ubud that are obscenely luxurious!Cheers - kevin
