Remember last month someone posted does it snow in Bali?
Just got back on Monday and I'm in the process of trying to remember what I did when for my JBR but just wanted to let you all know it did snow in Bali, and I'm not bloody kidding!
There's a new attraction set up at the side of the Kuta Galleria. its called Bali Bersalju (forgive my spelling if I got that wrong). Basically someone has set up some massive cold rooms that are advertised as running at -20degrees.
You turn up and pay your 40,000 or 50,000 on weekends. You are given a big coat and enter to find a display of about 20 or so ice carvings. But the best part was another room that was set up with 2 long slides about 100 metres long and with a snowy display down the bottom. Great for kids and the young at heart!
Do take closed in shoes as we left after about 20 minutes due to cold toes. Not sure how long it's going to be there for but whoever is running it is going to have a massive listrik bill!
