just late last year and both are good hotels. It depends a bit on what you want and your budget. Both in the same location so that isn't an issue.
Rama Garden - smaller hotel, have dvd player in room, lovely comfy beds, brekky basic, good staff, cheaper then the Lokha and the standard rooms around the pool are good, some of the bathrooms are a bit tied, but I will definitely stay here again because it is good value for money.
Lokha - here we stayed in delux room and it was double the cost of the standard at Rama Garden, but newer rooms with island style bed, bigger, nicer and more modern bathroom, no dvd player. Brekky at the Lokha was better. Both rooms were by the pool, so the same there. Lokha has a pool bar and massage hut, Rama doesn't. If cost is a factor you won't be disappointed with Rama Garden. If you like modern/newer style go for Lokha. Both places had cold air, fridge, and great staff. Oh Rama have live band in restaurant at night, not sure about the Lokha, but generally you dine at different places each night so I don't consider that a + or -. Enjoy whatever you choose, both are good and I hope I have helped with your choice.
