My sister bought a diamond pendant from the big jeweller next door to Matahari in Kuta Square. Don't remember the name of the shop, but the pendant was lovely. She paid less than half of what she'd pay in Oz for the same thing.
Check it out. Get some prices here in Oz, then go to some reputable jewellers in Bali and do the homework.
