I know there have been many queries on this site regarding villas in Bali, and many articles written.
However I'd love some up to date information on villa rental agents, or 'third parties' (who require a substantial deposit up-front, then full payment balance prior to arrival).
Has anyone had bad experiences with these internet booking agents, or maybe you have a recommendation for an ethical and reliable agent.
Not many villas are suitable for us because there are 17 of us and we need 9 bedrooms, pools etc and would like the whole place to ourselves. So once we decide on the villa we then have to book with whatever agent is handling it. How secure is our deposit going to be and what guarantees are there?
We have shortlisted a couple of villas, Sitara Padi and Taman Wana. Has anyone stayed at either of these places?
