I hoped that it was just me having a bad run but I guess I wasn't the only one.
The big picture is that we all still love Bali but it IS a shame that it is changing (and I don't think for the better).
I don't believe the figures quoted in what's arriving in and out of Bali. I travel to Bali every six months and I don't think it's any busier than it was in September BUT maybe people are going to area's that I didn't visit........
I spoke to people who had changed money in many places and thought they had been given the correct money as they checked it at the time - but later, when they checked it, it was short. I don't know how they do it, but they do......
We also import out of Vietnam and have done for a few years but some things are just "Bali" - I think it's a shame that we probably won't do much importing from Bali again.
I don't want to sound negative - I probably will go back to Bali in the future but it won't be as often as I have in the past.
If your going - just beware and enjoy.
