What I did do though was always go to the money changer on Bemo corner with the security out front and never ever did I have a problem with the money.
I also tend to visit the fixed price shops first and if I need anymore I just offer the stall holders same price so didn't have a problem with shopping iether.
The one thing we did notice though was the prices of food and drinks had gone up yes.
