Hi, my inlaws just came to Bali with us....they are in their early 60's but young at heart. They too havent been for 18 years. They came to the conclusion that next time (which I am sure will be soon as they loved Bali so much)they would stay in Tuban as the foot paths were so much better and it seemed cleaner. We stayed at the Jayakarta which they really enjoyed but the foot paths up that end werent flash. They had a look at the Bali Rani which they liked as it was small and close to the road....no long drive to hike hike up and down. Also they absolutely loved the bike tour they did with us, it really was the highlight. Bali Budaya Tours, I have the details if you want them. Hope this helps.
