I do not hope I offend anyone. After staying in Thailand and other resorts in Australia, I have always stayed 5 stay, so wanted same, I mean it was good - but a bit old. But cheap e.g., a banana milkshake (kids live on) was 15000, plate of fries I think about 19000, at lunch time 12-1pm drinks half price, so had a coctail then sometimes, hubby had a few bintangs I think these were OK. But he always put a few in the fridge from the supermarket, as I did with extra water, pringles, etc. Supermarket 2 shops up. Kids menu for snacks or lunches OK, e.g. hamburger and chips 22000, chinese restaurant attached very expensive, and irish tavern attached veeeery expensive. But heaps and heaps of restaurants around which are excellent and dirt cheap. My kids 14 and 12, boy just played with everyone else, great kids there at our time, and both did activities in afternoon such as biggest bombing competition, tug of war, water polo etc. So that was great. Both went to Kids club on Easter Sunday and did hunts, chocolate stuff, baby rabbits etc. There is a huge slide in kids pool. I just left them both when I wanted to shop and it was all good. Rooms - We went firstly into the connecting family room and did not like it at all, there is no verandah, and that end is a long long way from everything. We upgraded for an extra $8 per night to a room near the pool with a verandah. That is important - the verandah. The resort is very large from street front to back pool area, and as you spend a lot of time with kids around pool, that is a lot better. So I would ask for a pool view room. (or very similar) And try to get your breakfast included in your deal, otherwise it is expensive also. Hope I am not sounding too critical, cause all in all it was a great holiday. Hope this helps, maureen
