Sure, tell us about your visit & perhaps that you bought a few things for the family, but the item by item expense account of your visit was gratuitous & self-serving. We know that you have been generous simply by sponsoring a child. We don't need the rest. Quite frankly, it does you no credit.
And revealing the full name of your sponor child was irresponsible. No argument.
My sympathy lies with Helen, who now has to mop up after you in your wake.
