Going back many years, before VOA, my father passed away (it was not unexpected) while we were in Bali. I flew back to Perth, leaving the family in Bali with our return tickets to Port Hedland. When I returned a few days later, I couldnt produce a outward ticket and it cost me AUD$5 to get a stamp in the passbook. April this year, I was asked by a counter jockey at immigration if I had a tip for him. He muttered it under his breath and I wasnt sure that I had heard him so I asked him to repeat what he had just said; which he did, much to my surprise. I told him no and walked on.
