When we left Bali last month, just as the new rules were being enforced for flights to Australia, my daughter had her duty free liquor confiscated at the final check point prior to entering the tarmac lounge/gate 7 (actually she returned it to duty free and got a refund).
Maybe the rules in Bali will change in time.
Duty free sales in Bali will still sell to flights departing for other than Australian destinations.
