price worldwide & retailers are all asked to sell at the one price & not put them on sale (!!! I was told this by the manager of the shoe section at Macy's in Las Vegas). In the US they were US$39 last year when I bought them there & AU$49 here. People seem to love the cheap knock-offs but I haven't tried them myself - I'd actually like to compare the two myself.
