1. Denpasar is a big, dirty city. We drive through everytime we go and usually go in for a days shopping. If you want to shop it's worth a trip otherwise you won't get much from it.
2. Sorry, don't know the night markets. I thought all of Kuta was a night market. The stalls stay open until late every night.
3. I don't stay in Sanur but from what I've seen driving through there is heaps. Loads of water sports etc.
4. I think you mean Ubud ? If so, there is heaps to do there. There is the Monkey Forest, the galleries etc etc. Ubud is set in a hilly area so some of the hotels are set in magnificent spots. It is the "arty" spot although, all of Bali is "arty". Ubud is also in the centre of the island so you can travel around to other areas if you like. I would say if you had to pick 5 things to do that would really mean you have seen Bali, going to Ubud would definately be one of them.
