The price of the upgrade will depend on the original price of the flight eg if the flight was on special you will have to pay the difference between that and the usual economy fare and then add on the upgrade. Sometimes you can upgrade at the airport if there is a seat available. I don't know about Sydney flights but most of the flights out of Perth are full. I flew Business class in March and is now not worth the money. Food is the same as economy, service is the same (press the buzzer and wait)only plus side is larger seats and extra 10 kgs luggage but really not worht the extra $$$. Just my thoughts.
