Hi DArwingirl,
We are from Adelaide and have a few decisions to make regarding how, who, which way to get to Bali. We "HAVE TO" go at Christmas and only get a bit over two weeks which makes Bali peak but, just doing a browse and it looks like, Darwin is off peak. Guess with cyclone season, weather or someone maybe able to tell me why. Found present room rates in my opinion to be dear in Darwin for a basic room off the esplanade. We want to see Darwin and because of co-ordinating flights to Bali from there (not Darwin-Perth!!! or Darwin-Brisbane!!!), we can stay a couple of days on the way and one on the way back. Ofcourse without a car we will need to stay central and walk or cab it.

Hi Dromomaniac,
Have a great trip and June would be a nice change from our winter the "Hot air wall" will be great when you come out of the Airport.

Hi & thanks Tubans_great,
I think Tubans great too. :-)
