Excellent food & service, but not for kids. Owner Chris Salans used to work under Thomas Keller in the French Laundry in Yountville, Napa Valley in North California.
For Bali standards it's expensive, but they do not offer a Bali standard experience but can compare with the best in Asia. Prices are about 50% of what you'd pay in Sydney.
A few weeks ago Thomas Keller was for a few days guest chef at "The Normandie" in Bangkok. The price per person was Baht 10,000 (about US$300) per person ++ and they were fully booked.
