Mozaic definitely not a place for kids. It's a classy place so I'm sure they'd accommodate kids but there's no kids menu and I think you'd enjoy it more as a romantic dinner a deux - and with the price of babysitting, and with how lovely the Balinese are with kids, why wouldn't you?
As for it not being cheap,no not by Bali standards but very good value by aussie standards. I'm now consulting the menu: the prix fixe dinner degustation menu is 450,000 rp per person plus 350,000 rp if you do the wine pairing (my husband did this and loved it). You don't have to do the wine pairing though.
Do yourself a favour and try it!
