Hi Cheryl,

Ubud Village Hotel in Monkey Forest Road is providing 3 room types, all have outdoor bathrooms and air-condition.

Superior:
Rooms are located between the lobby/restaurant and the pool area, the bathroom is better designed than in the deluxe rooms (marble bathtub in the floor), they have a small veranda, a nice little garden with a private gate, the better choice from my point of view since these rooms are providing a bit more privacy.

Deluxe:
Rooms are located in the backyard close to the river, either up- or downstairs, the rooms upstairs have a balcony, you will have something like a view over coconut trees (no view on the river), but on your balcony you cannot enjoy any privacy, the bathroom has a normal bathtub and seems to be smaller than in the superior rooms.
The deluxe rooms downstairs have a small garden with a private gate (the rooms above provide insight into this area) and no view at all.
Deluxe rooms are a bit bigger than superior room, although I could not feel any difference.

Villa:
Right on the river side, private garden, private gate, proving the most privacy and are better equipped than other rooms, but to tell you the truth in my opinion you will find better options for a villa in Ubud.

Ubud Village Hotel is a nice, little, familiar hotel, clean and a good value for money, location is good and the staff is friendly, only the breakfast buffet is repeating day by day, but if the breakfast is boring you after a few days, there lots of good options for breakfast just out of the street.

Hope this helps and best regards
Thorsten
