Have a look at the link below. Hiring a driver and A/C van or car for an 8 hour day should be no more than Rp350,000 (depending on how well you bargain) which includes petrol, parking fees, his lunch etc, etc.
Rp350,000 sounds a lot but its really about Aus$50 which is not bad for a day.
