It is pretty much in the middle of Ubud on Monkey Forest road and I dare say all drivers in Bali will know where it is.
There is a lovely large temple there as it is a very sacred place and you can go into the temple walls and have a look at the GORGEOUS carved doors and statues.
The monkeys can be a bit on the grabby side and they are wild animals so be aware of that but we haven't had any problems with them- just make sure you don't try to hide food from them and keep an eye on your bags and cameras :-) From Memory they are more settled in the afternoon as screeds of tourists have already been in and fed them and they are just relaxing on their full tummies so a good time to go.
