is bloody rude and shows no respect for local culture or ANY culture for that matter. If you are a serious drinker you will happily drink your beer while it is cold and then wander(or jog if desperate) to another bar and buy another beer there.There is no need to make yourself look like an idiot by roaming around with a beer in your hand.
If you are anything like me, you will probably find numerous other ways to appear like an idiot.
