Last year we stayed at Parigata villas in Jalan Duyong, Sanur, which is a smallish hotel, beautiful villa rooms with own pool.Very private and romantic! Not on beach, but a very short walk. We negotiated a pretty good price.
Griya and Puri Santrian Hotels always get praised on this forum, Ive only walked thru them and they do look beautiful, tho both big hotels. Both on beachfront.
Finally, last Nov, we stayed at Respati, at their beachfront rooms and they were great too. We were lucky to get the very front room, big room, a stones throw to the water and about au$100 per night. If you havent been to sanur before, Respati is very close to the infamous Sindhu markets and loads of great restaurants.
